Featured Space Artist: Murphy Elliot

Here are a few words about myself. Born Dover. Delaware 1952. I spent 30 years on the west coast. Moved with my family to Plant City, Florida in 2001. I have been making a name for myself as an artist. I have been an artist since childhood but have made my living painting and decorating houses for the past 35 years. I have always followed the space program, or should I say wishing it would keep up with me. I have painted the shuttle many times, I figured 100 years from now when I am famous, they will date me. I feel instead of trying to build a colony on the moon or Mars, We should mine and colonize the asteroids that are numberous. Once we have hollowed it out for the minerals we have a ready made space ship for further exploration. I did my first oil Painting in 1969 and have done hundreds since. I would love to accept any comissions on future paintings.
