Happy birthday Neptune

These four images, taken a few hours apart with the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Camera 3, show Neptune, the eighth and outermost planet of the Solar System. Hubble’s images were taken to celebrate the first complete orbit of the planet since its discovery in 1846. The four images show different faces of the planet as it rotates on its axis.
