Hubble's sight compared to other space telescopes

This diagram shows the wavelengths at which various space telescopes are designed to see. Hubble can see in the near-infrared, visible and ultraviolet bands of the electromagnetic spectrum, while other telescopes cover different bands — Chandra, for example, peers at the Universe in X-rays, while Spitzer is designed to detect infrared light. Together, these space telescopes span across much of the electromagnetic spectrum
