The Tarantula Nebula, also known as 30 Doradus, is a hotbed of star-formation situated 170,000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) in the Southern sky. Just to the right of centre of the image there is a huge cluster of very hot young stars called R136.
