Former European Space Agency project scientist Duccio Macchetto talks about his career working on the Hubble Space Telescope project, and how Europe first became involved in the observatory. The interview was carried out at the “Science with the Hubble Space Telescope – III” conference in Venice, Italy, in October 2010. Sections of this interview appear in Hubblecast episodes 41 and 42.
