Location of the HDF South on the Sky (ground-based image)

Hidden in this image is the location of the Hubble Deep Field South. This area, the subject of Hubble's gaze, is a 12- billion-light-year-long corridor loaded with a dazzling assortment of thousands of never-before-seen galaxies. The same image with a marked location can be found here.
